2007 Dodge Avenger NASCAR

When you think about the Dodge Avenger, more than likely race car is not the first thing that comes to mind. However, once you see the 2007 Dodge Avenger NASCAR, race car will be the only thing in your mind when you think about it. Dodge has now created a special racing version of the Avenger to race in various races as the Car of Tomorrow. With a red, white, and blue paint scheme, this car definitely has the look of a racing car. Of course while the racing version of the car is only for the race track there is also a great street version of this car as well that you can actually own for yourself.

Take a look at the 2007 Dodge Avenger NASCAR and what you'll see is a car that looks very much like the Dodge Charger, just a smaller version of it. The new Avenger sports a tough muscular look that many people love and its' styling is both aggressive and bold. It comes with plenty of power under the hood as well, with a 2.7 liter 6 speed automatic. No doubt that will give about anyone all the power that they want and need in this type of a car. Of course there is more to this car than power; in fact, there are a variety of great features available as well....

There are many great features available in the 2007 Dodge Avenger NASCAR that set it apart from many other of the cars in its' class. One new feature is called the Chill Zone, which is a special compartment that will keep up to four cans cold and it is in the front of the dashboard for easy access. You can also get a cup holder in the front that will either cool or heat your drink for you for drinking comfort. There is a special fabric that is being used for the seats, called YES fabric. This fabric is especially designed to keep stains from soaking in and to keep the seats looking great throughout the life of the car.

Several entertainment features are also available in the Avenger too. You can get the car equipped with a rear seat DVD entertainment center. It plays DVD's, CD's and even MP3's as well. A great stereo system is also to be had in this innovative car. The car also features special LED lighting to provide light in the back and front of the vehicle interior when it is needed, which is great for reading maps or for passengers that want to read when it is dark outside.

Not only do you get high performance and power with the 2007 Dodge Avenger NASCAR, but you also get all of these great features as well. With the sleek design and variety of features offered you may be thinking that this car is out of your price range; however, it is actually priced quite reasonably. The pricing of the Avenger is actually quite competitive and depends on the features that you choose, but you can probably expect to pay between $16,000 - $25,000 for this vehicle.

In essence, this car has been developed to replace the Dodge Stratus, which is no longer being produced. While it seems to be a bit of a knock off of the Dodge Charger, it also has a personality that is all its' own. This car takes safety seriously, and there are a variety of great safety features, including electronic stability control and side curtain airbags, as well as an ABS braking system and other standard front seat airbags. It is spacious and comfortable as well, even for those who are quite tall.

The styling of the 2007 Dodge Avenger NASCAR is definitely cutting edge, as is the technology that is used on the vehicle. For those who want a powerful car that has a hip look, this just may be the one you are looking for. So, next time you watch the Dodge Avenger Car of Tomorrow race, why not consider getting your own version of this hot car that you can drive on the street, enjoying the power and style that it affords you for an excellent price.

Dodge Magnum SRT8

Thanks to the Chrysler Group’s relationship with Mercedes – both companies are owned by DaimlerChrysler – the automaker markets a successful group of full size, rear wheel drive cars powering the Dodge and Chrysler brands. Tapping Mercedes technology in the form of their suspensions, rear differentials, and automatic transmissions three vehicles, including the Dodge Magnum, are now gracing North American highways with their “can’t miss” presence. The Dodge Magnum wagon, as the first vehicle based on the LX platform, has successfully erased most people’s concept of what a “station wagon” should be. With its menacing front end, rakish body lines, and abundant hauling capacity the Magnum is no mere “mom mobile” instead, the car is a true sport wagon. Taking that theme to the extreme is the Magnum SRT8, the ultimate fusion of sport wagon and muscle car.

When it comes to engines, Magnum owners have plenty of choices. From the 2.7L V6 powering the SE, to the 3.5L V6 found underneath the hood of the SXT, to the explosive intensity generated by the 5.7L Hemi V8 that comes with the sporty R/T, Magnum owners have a variety of choices not found in many vehicle’s of its class. Thinking that some Dodge fanatics would want even something more powerful than the R/T, the brand released the SRT8 in 2005 which features a 6.1L Hemi V8 that bangs out an extraordinary 425 horses and 420 lb.-ft of torque. Add on the 20 inch aluminum wheels, firm up the suspension, and equip the model with bigger brakes and you have one untamable Magnum!

Even with its added luster, the Magnum SRT8 isn’t keeping Dodge devotees from pimping their rides to help them achieve the look and feel that they want. Some popular, highly desirable aftermarket parts for the Magnum SRT8 include:

Cool/Cold Air Intake Systems – If you want even more horsepower and improved torque, then an air intake system for your Magnum is in order. Airaid and Dub Air are two brands that have effectively created systems that have been specifically made for your Magnum SRT8. With the Airaid you have a choice of two models; the premium version comes with a Ram air scoop for added good looks. Both Airaid systems bump up horsepower by 14 and torque by 17, while the Dub Air produces near equal power improvements as well. Enjoy the throaty tone of an air intake system with your SRT8!

Performance Exhaust Systems – The Magnum SRT8’s exhaust system is adequate, but a Magnaflow Exhaust maximizes performance with its cat-back design and stainless steel properties. You get a rich exhaust tone, see horsepower and torque increase by 16 and 19 respectively, and you get a lifetime warranty with your Magnaflow exhaust system. Yes, the same stainless steel used by Boeing and Airbus in their jets is the steel that is used by Magnaflow.

Of course, many enthusiasts are installing both the performance intake system and the exhaust system to help them achieve the ultimate driving experience that a Dodge Magnum SRT8 can possibly offer to them.

Yes, there is nothing “station” about the Dodge Magnum, a car with the potential to effectively haul people, haul stuff, and to haul ass!

2006 Dodge Charger: Police Car Market with HEMI®-powered

Dodge is set to conquer the police car market later this year with its all-new 2006 Dodge Charger police vehicle. A four-door sedan with all the power, handling and functionality required to effectively patrol streets, the 2006 Dodge Charger is perfect for the job. "With rear-wheel drive and available HEMI® power at the pavement, the Dodge Charger provides optimum police car pursuit performance," said Darryl Jackson, Vice President - Dodge Marketing, Chrysler Group. "Dodge has a strong police heritage and is proud to offer vehicles armed with modern muscle and cutting-edge technology". The Dodge Charger police vehicle will join the Dodge Magnum, another Dodge model previously announced to charge into the market. The two models will round out Dodge's growing fleet of bold, powerful and capable vehicles designed for law enforcement agencies.

"We listened to what law enforcement officers asked for and paid attention to the details that are important to them," said Ray Fisher, Vice President - Sales, Service and Parts Operations, Chrysler Group. "By integrating features and functionality into the original design of the Dodge Charger, we can give our police customers an affordable, capable vehicle with industry-leading innovations."

The Dodge Charger police vehicle will be available with a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine that produces 340 Horsepower at 5000 rpm and 390 lbs.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. The V-8 HEMI engine also features Chrysler Group's Multi-Displacement System (MDS). This system effortlessly alternates between smooth, high economy four-cylinder mode when less power is needed and V-8 mode when more power is required. With the MDS in place fuel efficiency is also improved by up to 20 percent without compromising performance. The HEMI engines will also allow the Dodge Charger police vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.0 seconds.

Meanwhile, the Dodge Charger is also available with a powerful 3.5 liter High Output V-6 engine hat provides 250 horsepower at 6400 rpm and 250 lbs.-ft. of torque at 3800 rpm. Other excellent features include a fully electronic five-speed automatic transmission with an Electronically Modulated Converter Clutch offering improved shift feel to match a variety of driving styles, situations and road conditions. This will prove to be very useful in police operations throughout the country. This transmission is standard in all Dodge Charger police cars. Meanwhile, tough brakes and linings will provide a secure and stable deceleration and braking capability.....

With these two models, Dodge will once again dominate the police car market which it lorded over in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. During that period, the former Chrysler Corporation had a market share of 45-60 percent in the US. Some of the police vehicles manufactured by the former Chrysler Corporation include Dodge Monaco, Dodge Royal Monaco, Dodge Coronet, Dodge Diplomat, Dodge Dart, Dodge St. Regis, Plymouth Fury, Plymouth Gran Fury, Plymouth Volare and Chrysler Newport.

Dodge, Chrysler's best selling brand, currently enjoys a US market share of seven percent, making it the fifth largest nameplate in the US automotive market. Dodge also continues to lead the minivan market with a 20 percent share of the market. Meanwhile, when it comes to Dodge auto parts, one of the leading online suppliers is Auto Parts Train. The 1990 Dodge Dakota

The best car I have ever had has been serving me for 16 years now, which is my 1990 Dodge Dakota. It never let me down, although I have always been giving it hard time. And it has been so from the very beginning as I got my pick-up truck for work, not for show off. As a building contractor I have gone through 16 years of hard work, and my 1990 Dodge Dakota has been there all along the way. Working hard at least five days per week; moving from site to site, hauling tools, machines, supplies and everything else that you can think of.

I have been pretty rough with my truck, throwing at the above mentioned in the back of it and rushing up and down, back and forth, sometimes even adding a trailer for the extras. Making sure that I was not being hard to it body only, but to the engine also, with the additional loads and chasing deadlines I was never disappointed with it. It has always been great and I do not want to let it go.

Everybody knows that older cars are much more expensive to maintain compared to the new ones, but I know that my 1990 Dodge Dakota still has a lot to give. But in the moment it is not the same truck any more. The engine loses power, especially when with heavier loads it even stalls from time to time. Considering that you can never imagine it unless it has really happened to you, I dare say that it is a scary thing to stall in the middle of nowhere in an old truck with a trailer at the back.

Not being any good for me now does not mean that it can not serve well someone else though. I hope that my 1990 Dodge Dakota will go to a student or a college boy, who will use it for moving his stuff to and from school, for picnics, to go to the football training with it and things like that. With easy jobs like these it will be still doing great and I am sure because for the same purpose I used my mother's minivan back in the days and if it could do then my Dodge can for sure. I also hope that the next owner of my 1990 Dodge Dakota will be nearly as happy with it as I were, it will be very sad if it gets wasted.
