Honda Freed in Thailand, Less-selling

Car Collections - During February 2010, 'Honda Thailand' only able to sell 'Honda Freed' as many as 436 units. Total monthly sales are far below the total import volume Freed from Indonesia reached 1,000 units per month.

Throughout 2010, total sales HOnda Freed during the first two months (January and February) recently reached a total of 660 units.

Honda Freed sold in Thailand are imported from Indonesia. So far, Indonesia has been exporting to Thailand Freed from December 2009 until February 2010 with a total volume of 3000 units. In other words, referring to the first two months of sales in 2010 in Thailand, the 'Honda Thailand' could only sell 22 percent of the total import volume from Indonesia Freed.

Even so, Honda Thailand said total sales Freed during the first two months have mastered 32 percent of the MPV market segment in Thailand.
